My favorite part of visiting my Grandparent's house as a child was the packed bookcases in every room and hallway, and the porch full of chairs perfect for reading the day away.
katwoman,
I love hearing this memory. Sounds like our grandparents were a lot alike: mine had a house filled with books, too. I particularly remember that in the guest room, books were used to hold up a table. I thought it was heaven. Thanks for sharing!
