Both are fabulous--thoughtful, smart and thorough--and one is by Genevieve Graham, author of Under the Same Sky (Berkley Sensation, Jan. 2012). Crazily enough, her novel is set partly in the Keowee River Valley, just 22 years earlier than Keowee Valley. (And I loved it.)
